Restorative Hormones for Men
Our restorative hormone treatments for men focus on balancing key male hormones like testosterone and DHEA, to enhance overall hormonal health. As men age, testosterone levels naturally decline, leading to detrimental symptoms that can be alleviated through methods such as BHRT treatment and other male hormone therapy treatments. Restorative hormones for men aim to optimise hormone levels and alleviate symptoms that cause a negative impact in your day-to-day living.

Conditions Impacting Men's Hormonal Health
Low Testosterone (Low T Levels)
Low testosterone levels in men can have significant effects on both your physical and mental health. Testosterone is a vital hormone responsible for regular functioning and aids in preserving muscle mass and bone density, boosting your libido and regulating your mood. When T levels decline, men may experience symptoms such as fatigue, reduced strength and a low sex drive.
Erectile Dysfunction
Erectile dysfunction (ED) is a common condition in men characterised by the inability to achieve or maintain an erection, impacting their ability to perform in the bedroom. While sporadic difficulties are normal as they are impacted by numerous factors, persistent ED can be a sign of underlying health issues and a male hormone imbalance.
Obesity and Metabolic Syndrome
Obesity and metabolic syndrome are interconnected health challenges. Obesity itself occurs when an individual possesses too much body fat and is a driver of metabolic syndrome – a combination of conditions occurring together that increase the risk of numerous health challenges.
High Cortisol Levels
Cortisol, the body’s stress hormone, is produced by the adrenal glands and plays a key role in regulating regular biological functioning. However, a prolonged state of high cortisol levels can lead to a range of health issues. High cortisol levels can often contribute to other hormonal issues like insulin resistance, meaning that male hormone restoration through male hormone therapy will be your best chance at mitigating negative symptoms.
Andropause
Andropause is often referred to as “male menopause”. Unlike menopause, andropause occurs gradually and can lead to symptoms that greatly impact day-to-day to living in men. Hormonal imbalances, particularly low testosterone levels and high cortisol levels are largely at play in the development of this condition. Male hormone therapy treatments such as andropause treatment through BHRT treatment, are incredibly effective at mitigating symptoms and aiding your male hormone restoration journey.
Adrenal Fatigue
Adrenal fatigue is a term used to describe a collection of symptoms that result from chronic stress overwhelming the adrenal glands. When prolonged periods of stress occur, the adrenal glands, which produce hormones like cortisol and adrenaline, are drained of their reserves resulting in unstable hormone levels. This leads to a variety of health issues that can be mitigated through male hormone therapy treatments and changes in lifestyle.
Sleep Apnoea
Sleep apnoea is a sleep disorder in which breathing repeatedly stops and starts during sleep. This condition can lead to a host of issues such as disturbed sleep, reduced overall oxygen levels and an increased susceptibility to other health risks.
Hypothyroidism/ Hyperthyroidism
Hypothyroidism occurs when the thyroid produces insufficient hormones, leading to a slowed metabolism. On the opposite end of that, hyperthyroidism results from excessive thyroid hormone production, creating a overactive metabolic state. Each of these issues present different health problems that affect overall health. Proper diagnosis through comprehensive blood tests measuring TSH, T3, and T4 levels is essential for developing appropriate treatment plans to restore the male hormonal balance and alleviate symptoms.
Insulin Resistance
Insulin resistance is a physiological condition wherein cells in the body become less responsive to insulin, the hormone that regulates blood sugar levels. This condition forces the body to produce more insulin to maintain normal blood sugar levels. This is one of the leading factors in the development of type 2 diabetes.
Depression or Anxiety
Depression and anxiety are mental health disorders influenced by various factors, including hormonal imbalances. Hormones play a crucial role in regulating mood, emotions, and stress responses. Thyroid hormones also play a role, as hypothyroidism can lead to depressive symptoms, while hyperthyroidism may trigger anxiety.
